Creating a table - online play

In "Online play" mode you can either join any table which exists at the moment or you can create a table yourself.

If you yourself create a table, you will always be South, hosting other players.

To create a table you should hit the "Create table" button on the main online screen where all the tables are listed.

You will see a screen where you can choose your table`s settings: which bidding system, scoring method, program skill level and other settings for your table you prefer.

After you have chosen the bidding system, scoring method and program skill level, you simply have to touch the "Ok" button.

By clicking the down arrows on the "Convention cards" drop down menu, you can choose the bidding system for North/South and East/West.

Bridge Baron 24 lets you choose between the following bidding systems: Acol,Forum D, Goren, Two over One, Standard American Yellow Card, Precision, La Majeure Cinquieme, Standard American with Weak two bids and Standard American with Strong two bids.

Each system has Basic, Intermediate and Advanced options, controlling the number of bidding conventions played.

As the host of the table you are the one who is in charge of proceeding on to the next deal after the hand has been played. You can do so by touching the "Next Deal" button at the Score screen which appears after the hand has been played.

If duplicate bridge was chosen as scoring method then proceeding on to "Next Deal" becomes available only after scoring the played deal.

To get the score you have to touch the button "Quick Score" at the center of the scoring screen.

If you host a table then please remember that if you leave the table the table is shut down and all the other players lose their seats. It might be polite to warn the other players before you leave using the "Chat" button which lets you send messages to other players.

If you want to leave the table, you should use the "Close" button from the top left of the table screen. This takes you back to the main online screen, where all the tables are listed. You can join some other table or if you want to quit altogether, you can do so by clicking the "Quit" button on the bottom left corner. This takes you out of the application and back into the main menu of Bridge Baron.
